For those planning to travel abroad, check the latest information now because the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has updated the list of 35 countries where Thai nationals do not need a visa, granting visa-free entry for holders of ordinary Thai passports in 2026, allowing travel for tourism without prior visa application.
Each country sets different maximum stay durations, ranging from 14 to 365 days. Some are temporary visa exemption measures, so always check the latest conditions before traveling, as follows:
Georgia
Japan(Temporary measure from 1 July 2025 to 1 August 2026)
Although Thai passport holders are visa-exempt in many countries, entry permission depends on the laws and discretion of the destination country, and conditions can change at any time.
Therefore, before traveling, always check the latest information from the embassy or consulate of the destination country in Thailand or inquire further with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
