Certified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) standards and supported by the Office of Science, Research and Innovation Promotion, this initiative aims to establish the area as a true model of Go Green Tourism.

The highlight is the launch of solar-powered electric bikes. Mr. Manaswin Boontawi, manager of Khung Bang Kachao STA, shared these interesting details.
- Clean innovation: These electric bikes are imported from South Korea through a partnership with the private sector.
- Long-distance per charge: Each full charge allows the bike to travel approximately 60 kilometers.
- Five key service stations: More than 200 bikes are available at Wat Chak Daeng, Chalerm Phrakiat 80th Anniversary Park, Wat Bang Nam Phueng Pier, Srinakarin Arboretum and Public Park, and the Khung Bang Kachao STA office—which also serves as a solar charging station.
- Rental rates: Starting at 100 baht per hour, 200 baht for half a day, and just 300 baht for a full day of riding.
These electric bikes suit all users, including seniors, thanks to electric assist that reduces pedaling effort. Climbing hills or bridges becomes easy, and the bikes are environmentally friendly.

1. Sri San Khung Bang Kachao Route (Colour of Khung Bang Kachao)
- Distance: About 2 kilometers.
- Ideal for: Those who prefer a gentle, easy ride without much exertion.
- Check-in spots: Start with a leisurely ride through the shaded areas of the public park and Srinakarin Arboretum in Bang Kachao subdistrict. Visit the learning center, then take a boat tour through the nipa palm tunnel at Lower Bang Krabueong Canal, participate in making traditional pickled nipa palm salad, and finish with delicious community cuisine.
2. Carbon Neutral Route at Khung Bang Kachao
- Distance: About 7 kilometers.
- Ideal for: Intermediate cyclists who enjoy a variety of activities.
- Check-in spots: Begin at Song Khanong subdistrict with a visit to the King Rama IX Memorial at Lat Pho Health Park. Ride to Wat Chak Daeng to explore the organic cycle center and join vegetable planting using food waste compost.
