For those who enjoy going out and have a passion for design, MMAD - MunMun Art Destination in East Bangkok has launched rotating exhibitions from July through August 2026 to build a creative community and offer a platform for Thai and international artists to share stories through diverse works. This round features 8 exciting highlight exhibitions.

A closer look at 8 unmissable art exhibition highlights this month.

1. MMAD Exhibition July – August 2026: Five Perspectives on Creative Madness.

  • Exhibition period: Now until 23 August 2026.
  • Venue: MMAD GALLERY, 2nd floor.
  • A new exhibition under the MMADness is Calling project inviting MMAD artists to interpret the concept of “madness” through five sub-exhibitions: PiLLOW by Sittha Chantrawong (HOMMES.HOM), You + I = You by Thanawat Deesawat, Small Joys by Nail.o1, Traces of Light in Old Albums by Athipat Puksrisuk, and Tattruly Us by T24N.

2. 1 Day 1000 Pictures, 8th Edition: ROAM.

  • Exhibition period: 25 July – 27 September 2026.
  • Venue: MMAD MunMun Srinakarin.
  • A photographic installation featuring 1,000 landscape photos from 1,000 journeys by people across the country, reflecting that although we share one world, human perspectives, memories, and ways of recording stories are always distinct.

Three creative exhibitions highlighted by BACC pop•up (3rd floor).

In collaboration with the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC pop•up People’s Gallery), presenting three exhibitions in the P1 - P3 gallery zones.

3. Maxnifier VI International Printmaking.

  • Exhibition period: Now until 15 August 2026.
  • International printmaking works such as Woodcut, Etching, and Lithography by Methasit Boon-ekbussay.

4. ARCHON.

  • Exhibition period: Now until 23 August 2026.
  • Installation art, sculpture, and monochrome paintings by Patcharapon Sermsuk (SOYMANGO).

5. Relationship with…

  • Exhibition period: Now until 23 August 2026.
  • Conceptual paintings exploring complex and fragile relationships by JIBCHAA, JAOYAO, and SIBECLOP.

A creative space and specialized library focusing on visual arts and food, presenting two unique experiences.

6. The New Narrative: Moving Image Showcase.

  • Exhibition period: Now until 29 July 2026.
  • Showcasing moving image works telling three stories from three artists: “Letter from Congo” by Buariet Iamkamon, “Talking with You at the Park” by Andy Sua, and “A Poem to Myself, the Dreamer” by Mananya Phensut at TCDC Commons Visual Arts.

7. The Invisible Chef - Taste, Hidden and Received.

  • Exhibition period: Now until 31 October 2026.
  • An exhibition decoding the secrets behind deliciousness through the lens of 'Gastrophysics,' a new branch of science studying how shape, taste, smell, sound, and touch create illusions of flavor in the brain, held at TCDC Commons Creative Food.

8. Exit II: Heartbeats, Conversations from Teacher to Student.

  • Exhibition period: Now until 31 July 2026.
  • Venue: Alexgust Gallery, 2nd floor.
  • A conceptual art and painting exhibition in collaboration with Associate Professor Dr. Mom Luang Opas Jaratsanankun and guest artists (Putthanun Tangwongcharoen, Benyapa Upakarin, Panyada Chantramin, Phonphum Siemmai, Jirawat Wannarattonsin), exploring processes of pain, memory, and healing to find one’s own exit in life.

This July 2026 update of MMAD MunMun Srinakarin’s contemporary art exhibitions reflects the growth of alternative art spaces in Bangkok’s outer districts, opening opportunities for urban communities and new generations to experience diverse creativity ranging from photography, printmaking, digital motion art to food science.
