When it comes to cultural tourism and seeking blessings for positive energy, Henan Province is a destination that spiritual enthusiasts and lovers of Chinese history should not miss. As the origin of Chinese civilization and home to many ancient capitals, Henan is full of places rich in stories and the power of eras gone by. According to the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the new travel routes today not only focus on beauty but also aim to give visitors a deep cultural foundation experience.
Recently, the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism brought these charms to Thailand through the event “Experience Henan, Understand China” held on 30-31 August 2026, unveiling a new dimension of tourism that blends art, belief, and history together.
The atmosphere at SIAMSCAPE in central Bangkok was transformed into a check-in spot to receive positive energy in the ancient Chinese style. The main highlight attracting both travelers and spiritual seekers was the cultural heritage zone featuring Jin Si Nan Mu wood, historically regarded as a high auspicious wood used in royal courts, and Jing kiln ceramics from the Gong family, a craft believed to possess timeless beauty.
Additionally, attendees wore Hanfu to take photos themed on the Three Kingdoms, simulating the experience of receiving energy from legendary heroes. They also enjoyed Han Dynasty-style dances and ancient Chinese music performances aimed at balancing energy and promoting relaxation according to Chinese principles.
Besides cultural displays, Thai and Henan tourism operators partnered to launch travel routes tailored to modern lifestyles. During cooperation talks at Jubilee Prestige Hotel Ratchadaphisek, interesting itineraries were presented, notably focusing on Xuchang city, a cultural hub of the Three Kingdoms era, ideal for those wishing to visit real sites to pray for success and strategic work guidance.
These routes also include kung fu culture at Shaolin Temple, which is not only a martial art but also a practice for mental training and meditation, along with visits to world heritage sites rich with historical mystique. Representatives from tour companies of both countries officially signed to establish the “Henan Tourism and Culture Promotion Alliance.”
Using cultural heritage, including sacred art objects, ancient costumes, and stories of the Three Kingdoms as a medium to connect people, this initiative not only stimulates inbound tourism interest but also provides Thai tourists with the opportunity to learn about civilization and experience the grandeur of Henan Province in a deeper and more auspicious way.
