1. Yaowarat Vegetarian Festival, Bangkok

The 2026 Yaowarat Vegetarian Festival takes place from 9 to 18 October 2026, lasting 10 days at the Chalerm Phrakiat 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Gate area on Yaowarat Road (Odeon Circle).

A major feature of the event is that the shrine offers free vegetarian meals three times daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) from07:00 to 20:00throughout the festival.

Attendees can also pay respects to Guan Yin, release lotus flower lanterns for blessings, and admire the beautiful Guan Yin lantern displays symbolizing faith.

3. Phuket Vegetarian Festival

The 2026 Phuket Vegetarian Festival runs from 9 to 18 October 2026, held at over 40 shrines across the province.
