/ Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) provides an update on the progress of disbursing flood relief funds for the 2025 rainy season, offering a flat rate of 9,000 baht per household in four categories as follows

1. Primary residence flooded with standing water for no more than 7 days and property damaged

2. Primary residence flooded with standing water for more than 7 days

3. Primary residence surrounded by floodwaters causing inability to live normally for more than 7 consecutive days

4. Primary residence in a multi-story building where floodwaters did not reach the occupied floor but caused inability to live normally for more than 7 consecutive days

Today (3 Dec 2025) marks the third round of relief payments. The DDPM and Government Savings Bank will transfer funds to verified registered flood victims totaling 70,044 households. In the southern region, 4 provinces—Surat Thani, Pattani, Songkhla, and Yala—receive 66,187 households: Surat Thani 1,997; Pattani 16,953; Songkhla 46,976 (including Hat Yai 5,178); and Yala 261, totaling 595,683,000 baht. In the central region, Sing Buri province has 3,857 households receiving 34,713,000 baht. Payments will be made via PromptPay accounts linked to national ID numbers starting at 1:00 p.m. today.

How to register and submit a request for the 2025 “Flood Relief Fund”

There are two ways to register and apply:

1. Register online via the website https://flood68.disaster.go.th

to express your intention to claim relief. After confirming in the system, visit the local administrative organization or community leader in your area to verify your flood impact.

and fill in all required details

2. Submit the request in person at the local administrative organization in the affected area

Enter your 13-digit national ID number without spaces
Click Check status

Citizens who have not linked their PromptPay account to their national ID number are advised to contact any bank promptly to link their account. This will ensure quick and efficient delivery of flood relief payments and allow residents to track their payment status for flood assistance during the 2025 rainy season.
