An 8-month pregnant woman shook a blessing fortune stick to pray to “Phra Ngern Phra Thong” at Wat Sawang Arom and received lucky numbers to try her luck in the 1 Dec 2025 lottery draw.
On 30 Nov 2025 at Wat Sawang Arom, Khae Thao Subdistrict, Khun Kaeo District, Nakhon Pathom Province, one day before the lottery draw, many devotees and lottery hopefuls visited the temple to pay respects and pray to the sacred figures. Especially at the sermon hall where the statue of Phra Ngern Phra Thong, also known as Luang Pho Ruay, is enshrined—a revered Buddha image of Wat Sawang Arom to which people bring offerings daily in gratitude.
Notably, beneath the base of Phra Ngern Phra Thong, numerous land title deeds are placed by devotees, lottery hopefuls, real estate brokers, and those seeking success in land sales. This practice is believed to help prayers come true, as many who leave their land deeds there reportedly succeed in selling their properties.
Ms. Jeab Mekhala, a vendor from Kanchanaburi Province, revealed that she is now eight months pregnant and nearing delivery. She brought her unborn child to pay respects and pray to Phra Ngern Phra Thong for good health and protection. She has been a faithful devotee of Luang Pho Pae for many years and has previously received blessings for good fortune, safe travels, and family happiness through her prayers.
Today, she intended to have her forehead anointed and receive a talisman tattoo on her hand to open the heavens, earth, and underworld. This follows a vow she made to Luang Pho Phra Ngern Phra Thong that if she won a ten-thousand-baht prize, she would return to perform these rituals for auspiciousness.
Before leaving, she shook the fortune sticks and drew numbers 28 and 17, which she believes are lucky this time. She planned to buy lottery tickets with these numbers before heading home.
