Devotees seeking blessings from sacred entities at the year-end and New Year at Ruesi Nen Hermitage did not forget to observe numbers from the holy water basin for lottery hopes on the 2 January 2026 draw. "The Tukk Piyapong" performed a ceremonial blessing to open the wealth fortune for auspiciousness.
On 29 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters described the atmosphere at Ruesi Nen Hermitage, Western Ring Road No. 9, Potang Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Many people came to pay respects to sacred objects inside the hermitage, including the world's largest Ruesi Phrommes statue, Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng, the nine-faced Thao Wessuwan, Mae Takian, Ja Ngoo in Jindamanee Cave, and the first Naga scale Ruesi Kledkaew, continuously seeking blessings to welcome the year 2569 BE (2026 CE).
Many brought various offerings to fulfill vows, such as pumpkins, red syrup, rice, water, snacks, and toys. They joined ceremonies including offering rice, lifting the sacred pole, chanting the million-baht mantra into wallets, and receiving blessings from Master Ruesi Nen Thatphutthakhun with the sacred Lakshman Gold Face charm and a ceremonial hand blessing to open the wealth fortune, receiving water from the black conch shell for auspiciousness. Many also observed the numbers from the holy water basin at Boonchuay Pavilion for lottery purposes. The numbers seen were 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, which clustered together in what is called "Thewa Bandan" (divine arrangement).
Today, "The Tukk Piyapong Piwaon," a former Thai national footballer, visited to pay respects to various sacred objects within the hermitage, including Ruesi Phrommes and Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng. He performed the ceremony of draping the tiger cloth on Ruesi Phrommes and prayed for blessings from Master Ruesi Nen Thatphutthakhun, who then performed the ceremonial blessing to open the wealth fortune for auspiciousness.
