Luang Pu Sila Consecrates Sacred Amulets Lottery Enthusiasts Spot Lucky Numbers in Holy Water Bowl

"Luang Pu Sila" performed a consecration ceremony for sacred amulets commemorating the Sri Ming Mueang Kalasin Stupa, while lottery enthusiasts eagerly observed "lucky numbers" from the holy water bowl to try their luck

On 29 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that the Sri Ming Mueang Kalasin Stupa at Wat Prachaniyom, a royal temple in Kalasin Subdistrict, Mueang Kalasin District, Kalasin Province, held a consecration event for a famous amulet batch. These amulets were given as souvenirs to devotees who contributed to the construction of the beautifully designed Sri Ming Mueang Kalasin Stupa, now an important landmark of Kalasin Province.

The event was blessed by the kindness of Phra Ratchawatcharathamm Sophon, known as Luang Pu Maha Sila Sirichanto, a famed monk from the Nam Dam area, Regional Ecclesiastical Advisor of Region 9 (Th), and abbot of Wat Thammapiti or Thammapark. He presided over the ceremony and led renowned monks in mystical arts to meditate and consecrate the amulets of the Sri Ming Mueang Kalasin Stupa batch, which will be officially celebrated from 13 to 15 Feb 2026 GMT+7.

This creation was initiated by Luang Pu Bua Sri Chutintharo, Regional Ecclesiastical Advisor of Region 9 (Th) and abbot of Wat Prachaniyom, who kindly organized the amulets to be given as keepsakes to those who supported the stupa's construction. The amulets include Phra Phairi Phinat in various forms such as statues, medallions, and small prints, inspired by the small De Rosto batch made in 1952, legally authorized by Phra Phrom Wachirarangsri, abbot of Wat Bowonniwet Vihara.

Additionally, other amulets consecrated include Phra Khun Paen Somjai Nuk, believed to possess powers of great charm, popularity, and business success, as well as Phaya Ung Kam, known for attracting wealth. During the consecration, Luang Pu Sila graciously inscribed sacred yantra numerals imbued with spiritual power onto brass and silver plates and amulet photos, while also offering New Year blessings to attendees: "Xin Jia Yu Yi, Xin Ni Huad Chai—May this year end with well-being and wealth beyond needs." The assembly responded with loud "Sathu" chants, creating a profoundly auspicious atmosphere marking the close of the old year and welcoming the new Year of the Horse.

Meanwhile, during and after the ceremony, reporters noticed that in some of the holy water bowls lit by candles from the mystical monks, shapes resembling hearts or figures similar to numbers appeared. Attendees took photos of these patterns to interpret them as lucky numbers for trying their fortune in the New Year.
