On 8 Jan 2025 GMT+7, reporters covered the atmosphere of the 4th anniversary memorial event for the distinctive singer "Sornphet Sornsuphan" on its second night at the field of Wat Klang Ban Don School, U Thong District, Suphanburi. Over 3,000 fans came to watch the concert, filling the venue.
The Sornsuphan family arranged a grand ramwong dance stage to allow Sornphet's fans to remember him and enjoy themselves, fitting for the late legendary luk thung singer with a distinctive voice.
On the event day, Tonkhao Supreeya, a famous singer beloved by fans nationwide, performed songs to entertain the waiting audience. Many fans came to support and generously presented her with garlands as tokens of appreciation.
Immediately upon arrival, Tonkhao paid respects at the Heaven’s Pavilion shrine where the ashes are kept, and also drew ping pong balls, obtaining the number 452 to share with fans. Meanwhile, Ainam Kanchalika, who also performed songs in tribute to Sornphet, drew the number 352 to share with fans as well.
