Suphan Woman Makes Merit Offering to Phra Ngern, Phra Thong After Winning 5th Prize Lottery, Seeks Lucky Numbers for Next Draw

A lucky individual traveled to make a merit offering. “Phra Ngern, Phra Thong” at Wat Sawang Arom after winning the 5th prize lottery, and did not forget to ask for "lucky numbers for this draw" before leaving to try their luck again.

On 10 Jan 2026 GMT+7, a reporter reported that at Wat Sawang Arom, Khaekhaew Subdistrict, Khun Kaeo District, Nakhon Chai Si, Nakhon Pathom Province, Ms. Kasinee Deeying, 38, a housewife from Suphanburi Province, brought 99 packs of red drink and 38 dozen bottles of water loaded on a pickup truck to offer to Phra Ngern and Phra Thong, the sacred Buddha statues of Wat Sawang Arom, to fulfill a vow. The staff arranged the offerings in front of the sermon hall, where a replica statue was placed for devotees to make merit and give thanks, as the space for the original statues was limited, so the replica was set up in the courtyard.

After completing the merit offering, Ms. Kasinee revealed that she came to fulfill her vow because on Christmas Day, she had come to pay respects and ask for blessings from the sacred figures in the temple, especially Phra Ngern and Phra Thong, whose reputation for bringing luck and fortune to locals she had long heard of. After offering prayers, she bought two lottery tickets at a stall in the temple, and on 4 Jan 2026, when she checked them, she found she won the 5th prize. She immediately told her husband about the win, and he took her to claim the 20,000 baht prize. She told her husband she had vowed to offer red drinks and bottled water to Phra Ngern and Phra Thong, so she arranged to bring these offerings.

Before leaving, her husband asked her to reach into the egg jar for a lucky number, as lucky people often bring luck to others. Ms. Kasinee lifted the jar and prayed for wealth and prosperity for her family so she could return again to make merit. She then picked out three eggs showing the numbers 831. She went on to buy lottery tickets with these numbers before heading home.
