Villagers seek fortune "Kuman Ai Khai Nuea" at Wat Nong Thong eagerly spot "lucky numbers" from the holy water bowl to try their luck on 1/2/26 lottery draw
On 27 Jan 2026, reporters reported that at Wat Nong Thong, Moo 11, Ban Suan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Sukhothai Province, villagers came to pay respects and seek fortune to "Kuman Ai Khai Nuea" at Wat Nong Thong as the lottery draw date of 1 Feb 2026 approaches, with only five days remaining.
As a result, villagers came all day to seek luck, bringing red soda, kites, and toys to fulfill vows to Kuman Ai Khai Nuea continuously. The toys offered were later donated by Phra Ajarn Moo, Phra Kru Palat Thanarot Panyawachiro, the abbot of Wat Nong Thong, to children on Children's Day.
Additionally, after fulfilling their vows, villagers made sure to observe the "lucky numbers" from the holy water bowl to try their luck. The numbers seen included 1, 3, 6, 8, and 9, depending on individual belief.
