Villagers come to fulfill their vow. "Chao Mae Mon Thong" They had made a vow and their wish came true; they did not forget to ask for "lucky numbers for this draw." They will go back to try their luck on 1 Feb 2026.
On 29 Jan 2026, reporters reported that in Nakhon Sawan province, villagers living around Bueng Boraphet traveled to pay respects and fulfill their vow to Chao Mae Mon Thong at the shrine behind the Nakhon Sawan Fisheries Office residence in the Bueng Boraphet area. The villagers brought offerings such as betel quid, beer, garlands, red drinks, and water to present to Chao Mae Mon Thong, to whom they had previously made vows and had their wishes granted, prompting them to come fulfill their vow this time.
They also sought luck to take home by lighting incense sticks for divination. While waiting, they fed fish near the shrine until the incense sticks revealed the number 578. They took a photo of it to later purchase tickets based on this number at the market.
Regarding "Chao Mae Mon Thong," villagers believe she is the goddess who protects Bueng Boraphet. Locals hold the belief that she guards the lake and all its crocodiles, preventing the crocodiles from surfacing so they can survive without being hunted for their eggs or bodies to be sold. The crocodiles themselves remain hidden, waiting for the right time to emerge and show their grandeur.
