Over 30 Renowned Monks Join Consecration of Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes Amulet Lottery Enthusiasts Seek Lucky Numbers

The Ruesi Nen Hermitage held a major Buddhist consecration ceremony for the "Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes" amulet, inviting over 30 renowned monks to meditate and consecrate it. Lottery enthusiasts eagerly watched the firecrackers for "lucky numbers" on 1 Feb 2026 to try their luck.

Reporters said that on 30 Jan 2026 at the Ruesi Nen Hermitage on Kanchanawong West Ring Road No. 9, Potang Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, a grand consecration ceremony was held for the "Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes" amulet, "Grandfather Orders Wealth" edition. The amulets were to be given to disciples attending the hermitage's annual major teacher worship ceremony on 1 Feb. The event was presided over by the Most Venerable Somdet Thongchai of Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan, who lit the victory candle, along with over 30 famous Thai monks who joined in meditation and consecration.

At 09:39 a.m., a worship ceremony took place before the largest statue of Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes in the world. The ritual was led by Luang Por Pae from Wat Sawang Arom in Nakhon Pathom, Phra Ajarn Rachan Ariyo, a well-known preacher, Ajarn Ruesi Nen Thatbuddhakhun, Phra Ajarn Kittikom Nametta, and Phra Ajarn Kung.

During the worship ceremony, attendees were invited to light incense sticks, offer sacrifices, and scatter 'Dao Ruay' flowers before the Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes statue. Luang Por Pae sprinkled holy water on the participants. Afterwards, firecrackers were ignited as an offering to the statue, revealing tail numbers 975 and 42.

In the afternoon at 13:39, the Most Venerable Somdet Thongchai arrived to preside over the victory candle lighting. He kindly meditated and anointed the "Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes" amulet, "Grandfather Orders Wealth" edition, for good fortune. Over a thousand people attended, including Mr. Chaiya Charoenying, Bang Sai district chief, Police Colonel Nakphan Photha, Chief of Chang Yai Police Station, and Mrs. Porntip Techawipak, wife of the famous amulet expert Por Toi Muang Non, who served as the lay candle lighting chairperson.

Additionally, more than 30 famous monks joined in the consecration and meditation, including Luang Por Pae of Wat Sawang Arom, Luang Phi Namfon of Wat Phai Lom, Luang Pu Wern UNESCO of Kalasin Province, Luang Por Uayporn of Wat Don Yai Hom, Luang Por Ot of Wat Sai Mai, Luang Por Thong of Wat Ban Rai, Chao Khun Surasak of Wat Pradu, Chao Khun Chamnan of Wat Chinwararam, Luang Pu Thoop of Wat Lat Nam Khao, Phra Ajarn Maha Waen of Kalasin, among many others.

After the ceremony, Ajarn Ruesi Nen Thatbuddhakhun distributed the "Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes" amulets, "Grandfather Orders Wealth" edition, to the attendees.
