Villagers flocked to the ceremony inviting "Chao Pho Thong Dam" to his new house and eagerly noted the "lucky numbers" to try their luck in the 1/2/26 lottery draw.
On 30 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed that residents of Village 8, Ban Thep Prathan, and Village 25, Ban Sam Phan, in Khlong Takrao Subdistrict, Tha Takiap District, Chachoengsao Province, held a worship ceremony to invite “Chao Pho Thong Dam” to reside in a new yellow wooden house. Ms. Pinpinat Dakamcharaspong, village head of Village 8, and Mr. Wan Kamkaew, village head of Village 25, along with villagers, presented offerings and lit incense for worship.
The villagers appointed Mor Kwan Ajarn Phon, a respected local shaman, to conduct the ritual ceremony to invite "Chao Pho Thong Dam" to move into the new house. The new shrine was donated by village head Pinpinat after the old shrine became dilapidated.
The atmosphere was lively as villagers joyfully performed dances to honor "Chao Pho Thong Dam," whom they have revered since the village's founding over 80 years ago. Immediately after the firecrackers ended, the villagers excitedly awaited and identified the "lucky numbers" 44, 979, and 206, preparing to use them for the upcoming 1/2/26 lottery.
