A woman from Bangkok brought 200 pumpkins as a vow fulfillment offering to "Grandfather Hermit Brahma Met" after her prayers were answered: her business earned good profits and she gained a large fortune. She also stopped to check the "lucky numbers for the 16/2/26 lottery" to try her luck.
On 10 Feb 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that at the Hermit Nen Shrine, Buddhakun Subdistrict, West Ring Road No. 9, Photaeng Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, families came to pay respects to Thao Wessuwan in his nine-faced form standing 16 meters tall; the world's largest statue of Grandfather Hermit Brahma Met; the wealthy child spirit; the Takian tree goddess; Lord Ganesha; Hermit Kled Kaew; and visited the Jindamanee Cave. The shrine was open for people to worship these sacred figures to seek luck, blessings, and auspiciousness.
Additionally, Master Hermit Nen performed the 'Na Phra Laksana Na Thong' golden face marking, anointed palms to open the path to wealth, and conducted a rice offering ceremony to the elder spirit and gave holy water from the black conch shell. Offerings brought by visitors to the wealthy child spirit, such as red soda, pizza, bicycles, toys, and various sweets, will be donated to schools, foundations, and government agencies for further use.
Mrs. Marayat Phetchansee, 69, from Bangkok, who brought 200 pumpkins, fruits, betel leaves, and flower offerings to fulfill her vow to Grandfather Hermit Brahma Met, revealed that she made the vow to ask for luck and business profit, both of which came true.
Before leaving, Mrs. Marayat observed the incense stick numbers lit in front of Grandfather Hermit Brahma Met's statue to use for the next lottery draw. The numbers she saw were 151.
