Lottery enthusiasts gathered as scheduled to pray for luck in front of the “Wihan Klaep” at Nong Tao Temple in Ang Thong Province and were rewarded with “lucky numbers” to guide their bets for the 16 February 2026 draw.
On 12 February 2026, at the Wihan Klaep of Nong Tao Temple, Village 5, Bang Plub Subdistrict, Pho Thong District, Ang Thong Province, a group of locals came to seek lucky numbers, following reports that some had previously prayed here and had their wishes fulfilled.
This time, they made their guesses by shaking fortune sticks and lighting auspicious incense, revealing the numbers: 28 from the fortune sticks, 905 from the incense, and 897 from ping-pong balls drawn from a jar. Many plan to use these numbers to try their luck in the 16 February 2026 lottery draw.
The Wihan Klaep is an abandoned shrine surrounded by Bodhi trees, more than 100 years old. There are mysterious stories of men and women dressed in traditional Thai costumes emerging from the shrine to dance accompanied by traditional piphat music at night. Around lottery draw days, many gamblers visit to pay respects, pray for blessings and luck, and when their wishes come true, they return to make offerings regularly.
