The grand merit event, or the grand worship ceremony, was organized by Naga Village in collaboration with the MagicFederationof Thailand. This is an ancient cultural tradition venerating the Naga deities, sacred beings residing in the land of Thailand, receiving worship and homage from humans seeking blessings, merit, luck, and wealth. In the past, locals and spiritual tourists have come to pay respects and receive fortune, divine money, winning lottery tickets—from both Thai and foreign visitors—from this ceremony. This time, the ritual involved worship and blessing from the Naga deities to grant luck, hoping the people will win the lottery, become wealthy, possess great fortune, and enjoy good health.
For those who take chances with luck, the ceremony offered a chance to observe for lucky numbers. During the event, Phor Pu Ruesi Ling Yai Nop Kao performed a ritual lighting incense for divination, which revealed the numbers 952 and 259.These numbers were hoped to be usedto try one's luck in the 1/3/26 lottery draw.
