Farmer Woman Wins 12 Million Baht Jackpot After Dream of Deceased Mother Advises Buying Number 66

In Si Sa Ket Province, a 67-year-old farmer woman won the first prize lottery, becoming rich with 12 million baht. She revealed that her mother, who passed away two years ago, appeared in her dream and said, “If you want to win the lottery, just buy the number 66.”

On the evening of 1 March 2026, reporters reported that after the government lottery drawing for 1 March 2026, the first prize number 820866 was announced. At house number 50, Ban Nong Sat Noi, Village No. 5, Nong Yai Subdistrict, Mueang Chan District, Si Sa Ket Province, a lucky winner won two first prize tickets worth 12 million baht.

Neighbors came to congratulate Ms. Bua Phuangphan, 67, a farmer by profession. She shared that with three children, she and her husband earned a living by farming. Their farmland, once over ten rai, had dwindled to just three rai after selling some to support their children’s education. She had long relied on vague dreams, hoping to win the first prize lottery at least once in her lifetime.

Two nights ago, she went with friends to scratch numbers from a big tree, a place rumored to have brought lottery wins before. She scratched and got some numbers but those didn’t win. However, the number from the dream she had the previous night, where her mother who died two years ago appeared and said, “If you want to win the lottery, just buy 66,” was the winning number. She then woke up.

“Due to poverty, I always dreamed of winning the first prize lottery once. So, I regularly bought 2 to 4 government lottery tickets per draw. Two days ago, neighbors invited me to scratch numbers from a big tree where others had won before. I got some numbers and bought tickets, but those didn’t win. Instead, the number from my dream where my mother appeared and told me to buy 66 turned out to be the winner.”

That morning, she went to help with village merit activities where a lottery seller arrived. She asked if there were tickets ending with 66. The seller said yes, with two tickets available and asked if she wanted both. Despite limited money, she bought them, trusting her mother’s dream would bring luck. When the winning number was announced, she suspected the tickets she bought that morning with the number 66 might be winners. She checked and found she had won the first prize but kept it private, only calling her children. Her children then took her to report and file a record at Mueang Chan Police Station.

Ms. Bua added that neighbors who knew about her win came to congratulate her, and she probably wouldn’t sleep well that night due to the visitors and inquiries. She planned to go to the lottery office in Nonthaburi on 2 March 2026 to claim the prize. She intended to donate some money for merit to her late mother and relatives, pay off debts, share with her children, and buy farmland to continue farming. After selling land to raise and educate her children, she now hoped to repurchase farmland to sustain her farming livelihood and save some money for future use.
