Man Offers 1 Ton of Pumpkin to ‘Grandfather Rishi Phrommet’ After Regaining Ability to Walk, Receives Lucky Numbers for 16/3/26 Lottery

A man carried 1 ton of pumpkins to fulfill a vow to “Grandfather Rishi Phrommet” after regaining his ability to walk. He lit auspicious incense and received "lucky numbers" for the 16 March 2026 lottery draw.

On 12 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters described the atmosphere at Rishi Nen Hermitage, Buddha Power Branch, on West Ring Road No. 9, Potang Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Both Thai and foreign visitors came with their families to pay respects to the 16-meter-tall 9-faced Thao Wessuwan statue, the world’s largest statue of Grandfather Rishi Phrommet, the Kuman Thong Chao Sua Heng, the Takhian Goddess, Lord Ganesha, Grandfather Rishi Kledkaew, the Giant City figures, and to visit the Jindamanee Cave featuring the Monkey Spirit and Naga serpent. Visitors paid homage to various sacred objects inside the hermitage to seek luck and blessings. They also received blessings from Master Rishi Nen, who applied the sacred 'Nah Phra Laksana Gold Face' charm, anointed palms to open fortune, and took part in ceremonies offering rice, honoring the elder spirit, and receiving holy water from the black conch shell.

Suweekit Kaewsriwongsa, 47, from Ang Thong Province, came with his family carrying 1 ton (1,000 kilograms) of pumpkins to fulfill a vow after regaining his ability to walk following an accident that left him unable to walk.

Suweekit explained that he had fallen in an accident and was unable to walk. He prayed to Grandfather Rishi Phrommet at this hermitage for the ability to walk again, and now that he has recovered, he brought 1,000 kilograms of pumpkins as an offering to fulfill his vow. Before leaving, Suweekit also observed the incense before Grandfather Rishi Phrommet and received the number 661, which he plans to use for the 16 March 2026 lottery draw.
