Lottery Enthusiasts Excitedly Eye Lucky Numbers from Casting Ceremony of Phra Ruang Rojanarit Statue Hoping for Big Wins in 16/3/26 Draw

Provincial Police Region 7 took part in the casting ceremony of the "Phra Ruang Rojanarit" statue. The event drew attention when a Brahmin recited incantations amid dark skies and strong winds, prompting lottery enthusiasts to seize the opportunity to obtain "lucky numbers" for their lottery bets.

On 15 March 2026, reports stated that on the afternoon of 14 March at the plaza in front of the Phra Ruang Rojanarit statue at Phra Pathom Chedi Rajavaravihara in Mueang Nakhon Pathom district, Somdet Phra Maha Wirawong, Secretary to the Supreme Patriarch, presided over the religious side. Lieutenant General Phisit Tanprasert, Commander of Provincial Police Region 7, presided over the lay side in a casting ceremony for replicas of the Phra Ruang Rojanarit Buddha statues in sizes 24 inches, 18 inches, and 9 inches, as well as medals made from brass, silver, and copper. The 24-inch Phra Ruang Rojanarit statue will be enshrined at the Police Hall of Provincial Police Region 7, a newly completed building, serving as a spiritual anchor and source of blessings for police officers and visitors alike.

The 18-inch Phra Ruang Rojanarit replica statues will be distributed to all 104 police stations within Region 7 for officers to pay respects and seek protection. The 9-inch statues will be given to subordinate police stations and supporters of police activities, such as those providing scholarships to children of police officers who died in the line of duty and scholarships for children of officers with good academic and behavioral records across the eight provinces under Region 7.

The Phra Ruang Rojanarit medals, featuring the symbol of Provincial Police Region 7 on the back, were produced in three metals with a total of 14,000 medals. These will be distributed to all police personnel under Region 7 for protection. After the casting ceremony, a grand Buddhist consecration ceremony will be held on 20 May 2026, led by the renowned monk Luang Pu Sila Sirichantaro, along with several prominent teachers, to enhance the sacred power of the statues.

The ceremony began grandly with enthusiastic participation from police officers, including the Deputy Commander of Provincial Police Region 7, commanders from all eight provinces, and police station chiefs. The ritual involved offerings of various savory and sweet foods and fruits to invite the gods, sacred spirits, and Phra Ruang Rojanarit to be aware of the creation. A chief Brahmin recited incantations while nine monks chanted Buddhist prayers, led by Phra Ratchawachirasutaporn, abbot of Wat Bang Chang Nuea and provincial ecclesiastical head of Nakhon Pathom, and Phra Thammavachirajatiyajarn, acting abbot of Phra Pathom Chedi Rajavaravihara and deputy abbot, accompanied by eight other monks chanting auspicious verses before the casting. Somdet Phra Maha Wirawong and Lieutenant General Phisit Tanprasert jointly poured molten metal into molds. Senior police officers and police spouses signed brass sheets inserted into the furnace, concluding the ceremony.

Reporters noted that during the Brahmin's incantation segment, an unusual phenomenon occurred that astonished attendees: the sky, which had been shining brightly and hot, suddenly darkened and strong winds blew, providing a cool breeze. However, once the chanting concluded, the sky cleared and bright sunlight returned, surprising those present and leading to discussions about the sacredness of the Phra Ruang statue.

This event also caught the attention of lottery enthusiasts who noted the times of these phenomena—14:09 and the statue casting at 15:19—as "lucky numbers" to purchase lottery tickets for the draw on 16 March 2026.
