The atmosphere was lively with numerous people visiting to pray for blessings.
Ms. Namphueng, 50, one of those making offerings to fulfill a vow today, brought 999 boiled eggs, 3 pig heads, 9 bottles of red soda, and a dozen bottles of drinking water to offer to Luang Pho Somwang. She arranged the items neatly before lighting incense to complete the vow.
Ms. Namphueng explained that she had prayed to Luang Pho Somwang to help her sell an old house that was unoccupied and unattended. She had tried selling it for over two months with no buyers. Then she put up a new sign and, with her daughter, prayed to Luang Pho Somwang to sell the house within 10 days. She promised to bring 3 pig heads, 999 eggs, 9 bottles of red soda, and a dozen bottles of water to fulfill her vow.
Remarkably, within just 7 days, someone came to view and purchase the house, completing the sale within the 10-day period as she had requested. She also received cash proceeds from the sale. She believes in the power of Luang Pho Somwang because her daughter had previously prayed and fulfilled a vow here, having won the lottery from lighting auspicious incense. Encouraged by her daughter’s experience, she decided to make her own vow.
It was truly unbelievable that her wish was fulfilled. After completing her offerings, she respectfully prayed for good fortune before lighting auspicious incense to Luang Pho Somwang. She vowed that if lucky, she would donate to the temple’s charity project supporting people with disabilities. After lighting the incense and waiting until it burned out, she received the number 016, which she intends to use to buy lottery tickets before leaving.
