A woman who once won the first prize lottery has returned to ask for the "lucky numbers this draw" from "Grandfather Thong Ngiu Rai" at Wat Sawang Arom to try her luck on 1 Apr 2026.

Especially at the sermon hall, where the statues of Phra Ngern Phra Thong and the model of Grandfather Thong Ngiu Rai stand, many gamblers visit. She showed the winning lottery ticket saved on her phone to confirm her win.
Ms. Buay revealed she has been a devotee of Grandfather Thong for over a year. After winning the first prize by asking for luck from him, she offered him gifts, including gold necklaces, and redeemed two cattle to donate to a project redeeming life for the king’s merit, distributing to poor farmers. She visits this temple often before lottery draws, believing Grandfather Thong is truly sacred. Having won often, she feels compelled to return frequently, having committed herself as his follower. This time, she came again to seek lucky numbers from him as usual.
This time, after paying respects and asking for blessings from Phra Ngern Phra Thong, she approached Grandfather Thong Ngiu Rai to ask for luck. Her elder brother shook fortune sticks, dropping three sticks with numbers 14, 1, and 9. She then focused on the candle wax drops in Grandfather Thong’s holy water basin, interpreting the numbers as 195 and 85.
Before leaving, she raised her hands to Grandfather Thong, asking for another big win, promising to buy gold and gifts to offer him, and to redeem cattle to dedicate merit to Grandfather Thong again.
