Uncovering Tattooed Skin at Grave: Nine-Spire Yantra Tattooed Skin Found Preserved, Uncuttable and Unburnable

A sensation spread throughout the cemetery after opening an unclaimed grave revealed a piece of skin with a nine-spire yantra tattoo in remarkably preserved condition, impervious to knife cuts or fire. Lottery enthusiasts flocked to examine the grave number in excitement.

At 12:00 on 31 March 2026, at the old Naklua Cemetery (Chinese graveyard) managed by the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya, Naklua Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, a ceremony was held to open unclaimed graves. The unclaimed bodies were brought out for religious rites during the cemetery cleaning event organized by the Sungnoen Sawang Sangtham Thammasathan Foundation from Sungnoen District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Thousands of people and devotees attended the ceremony.

During this ceremony, 215 unclaimed bodies were exhumed for rites: 122 males, 85 females, and 8 children. While performing the ceremony at grave number 166, after exhuming and cleaning the remains of a male body—mostly decomposed to bones—one piece of skin from the back, measuring 30x10 cm, was found bearing a nine-spire yantra tattoo. The skin was almost 100% intact and showed no signs of decay. The ritual team planned to have the rescue team cremate this skin piece.

While preparing to cremate the skin, officials tried cutting and stabbing it with a knife, but it showed no scratches or penetration. When they attempted to burn it, the skin did not catch fire. This led to summoning the spirit medium of Pooi Sian Jao from the mediumship group to conduct a ritual to invite the spirit and dispel any curses. After the ritual, the skin finally burned and disintegrated.

Mr. Sutthipong Bunmachai, head of the water rescue operations team of the Sawang Boriboon Foundation in Pattaya, who organized the exhumation and procession of the unclaimed bodies, told reporters that the Sungnoen Foundation of Nakhon Ratchasima had requested 215 unclaimed bodies for the cemetery cleaning ceremony. During the event, a strange occurrence happened: a nearly whole back skin with a nine-spire tattoo and various characters was found in an undecomposed state. Attempts to cut or stab the skin failed, and it was unburnable until a master was summoned to perform a ritual cleansing the curse, after which the skin was finally consumed by fire.

Reporters noted that after the news spread, the public and devotees hurried to ask officials which grave number the tattooed skin was found in, intending to use the number to buy lottery tickets for the upcoming draw on 1 April 2026.
