The owner of a Bang Phli Chiang Gong shop had great luck winning the first prize after receiving a lucky number from the fortune sticks at Luang Pho Sothon Temple, which led him to buy lottery tickets. The number “14” Over 100 tickets, bringing him good fortune.
At 5:00 p.m. on 1 Apr 2026, Police Colonel Phairoj Phetploy, Chief of Bang Phli Police Station, received a report from Mr. Jakkrich Jaimiphak, 30, from Lam Plai Mat District, Buriram Province, that he had won the first prize in the government lottery draw dated 1 April 2026, draw number 13, ticket 25, number 292514. He came to file an official report as evidence.
When asked, Mr. Jakkrich Jaimiphak, 30, the fortunate winner, said that he and his family run an auto parts business at Chiang Gong Bang Phli. They went to Luang Pho Sothon Temple, also called Sothonwararam Worawihan Temple in Chachoengsao Province, to fulfill a vow by offering boiled eggs after his daughter prayed to pass the entrance exam to a sports school. His daughter is a volleyball athlete and successfully passed the exam to the sports school in Suphanburi Province.
After making the merit offering, he drew fortune sticks and got the number 14. He then purchased over 100 lottery tickets with that number and won one first prize ticket. However, he could not recall all the places where he bought the tickets. After claiming the prize money, he plans to save it as capital and to support his daughter's further education.
