The chili farm owner joyfully won 5 lottery tickets, receiving prize money totaling over 400,000 baht. He quickly brought his family back to offer thanks to "Phra Ngern Phra Thong," lit auspicious incense, and obtained "this round's lucky numbers" to try their luck again at the lottery.
On 20 Apr 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed that at Wat Sawang Arom, Khaekhaew Subdistrict, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province, devotees continued to visit to pay respects to sacred entities even after the long holiday had ended. Most came to pray for success in their work, good health, and to seek luck and fortune, often returning to offer thanks after receiving blessings.
For example, Mr. Supap and Mrs. Jarunee Manapongpan, a married couple, his wife, who work as chili farmers, traveled with their family from Chet Samian, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province, bringing 100 bags of rice, 50 packs of bottled water, and 50 crates of cup water loaded into a pickup truck to offer thanks to Phra Ngern Phra Thong. They informed Luang Pho Pae of their intentions before temple staff arranged all the rice and water at the courtyard in front of the sermon hall.
They then went upstairs to light incense and communicate with the real Phra Ngern Phra Thong statue located on the sermon hall, explaining the purpose of their gratitude visit, before descending back down to the courtyard.Down below, they performed the ceremony to complete the offering, with Luang Pho Pae personally officiating the ritual.
After the ceremony, Mr. Supap revealed that on 13 Apr 2026 GMT+7, during the Songkran holiday, he invited his family to make merit and pay respects at Wat Sawang Arom after hearing of frequent lucky winners there. Upon arrival, he thought the temple was holding Songkran celebrations because many people were worshipping sacred objects. Taking the opportunity, he made offerings and had Luang Pho Pae bless the back of his hand with a sacred yantra.
Luang Pho Pae advised them to go pay respects to Phra Ngern Phra Thong on the sermon hall and to make wishes for whatever they desired, then pray,so that their wishes would come true. Accordingly, he brought his family upstairs to pay respects. Personally,he prayedfor his chili business to get good prices, for his family to be healthy and free of poverty, for his children to succeed in their studies and become the family's support, and finally, to receive a large fortune so he could bring offerings to thank Phra Ngern Phra Thong.
He then took one auspicious incense stick, prayed, and asked that his wishes be fulfilled so he could return again. He lit the incense in the burner below and waited until it burned out. The numbers 087 appeared, so he went to buylottery ticketsat a stall inside the temple selling tickets ending with 087. It turned out to be number 742087, but only sets of tickets were available, not single tickets. As he was about to leave, his wife suggested buying a set of five tickets since singles were unavailable, so he returned to purchase five-ticket sets before heading home.
When the lottery results were announced, hechecked the tickets, looking only at the first prize and last two and three digits but found no matches. He then asked his daughter to check other prizes. When she did, she excitedly told him they had won the third prize, 80,000 baht each, totaling 400,000 baht, causing the whole family to celebrate.
Later, on 17 Apr 2026 GMT+7, they quickly collected the prize money and he told his wife he would bring the entire family back to offer thanks to Phra Ngern Phra Thong as promised, explaining the reason for this return visit.
Mr. Supap further shared that during this offering, he again prayed for luck that if he won another big prize, he would bring more offerings. When lighting the auspicious incense this time, the number 352 appeared, which he plans to use to purchaselottery ticketsonce more.
