Inside Wat Don Yai, the atmosphere was filled with devotees and worshippers from various areas who came continuously throughout the day to fulfill vows and pray to Thao Wessuwan, Ai Khai, and other sacred figures within the temple. Thao Wessuwan is regarded as a sacred figure with devotees seeking luck, fortune, business success, career advancement, and health, with many having their wishes fulfilled.
Mr. Chompoj Saenwongkham traveled from Khlong Sam area, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province, bringing 99 red roses and offerings to fulfill his vow to Thao Wessuwan after his son successfully passed the entrance exam to a prestigious university.
Mr. Chompoj revealed, "I run a motorcycle shop in Khlong Sam. Earlier, my wife and I prayed to Thao Wessuwan, asking that our son pass the university entrance exam. The result was that he succeeded in entering the university as he wished and is now studying in his first year in a computer and technology-related field."
"Although more than a year has passed, I have never forgotten the promise I made. I know the university entrance is difficult, and even though my son is a good student, I relied on Thao Wessuwan as my spiritual support until he succeeded as hoped. Today, I came to fulfill my vow. Before leaving, I also lit incense sticks to draw a number, getting 47, which I will use to try my luck."
Meanwhile, Miss Patcharee Pinthong brought a pack of red soda, two garlands, and offerings to fulfill her vow to Thao Wessuwan after receiving a big lottery win in the previous draw. She said, "I came to pray for luck from Thao Wessuwan and then bought lottery tickets. It turned out I won both three-digit and two-digit prize numbers, having won for three consecutive draws."
"This has made me come regularly to pray to Thao Wessuwan. Besides luck, my work has also improved noticeably after praying here. I have received kindness from my supervisor and have faced no obstacles or enemies at work. Today, I came to fulfill my vow and, before leaving, lit incense sticks to draw the number 33, which I will use for my fourth lottery try."
