Persistent lottery enthusiasts perform a ritual to seek lucky numbers from “Phaya Bueng” in Prachinburi Province, following traditional belief, hoping to use the numbers as guidance for the 2 May 2026 lottery draw.
On 28 Apr 2026, reports indicated that lottery enthusiasts sought lucky numbers for the 2 May 2026 draw from “Phaya Bueng,” based on personal beliefs. In Village No. 4, Yanri Subdistrict, Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province, they diligently searched for a new termite mound to perform the number-seeking ritual. They ventured deep into the forest in darkness until they found a suitable new mound facing east, as prescribed by tradition, which had never before been used for this purpose.
They lit incense to inform and ask permission from local spirits to open fortune and luck, raised a traditional offering tray, and asked Phaya Bueng for luck. Then, they dropped two sets of rolled papers numbered 0-9 into the termite mound’s hole. After waiting over two hours and nearly giving up, the Phaya Bueng brought up three pieces of paper showing the numbers 5, 4, and 1. Lottery hopefuls photographed these numbers on their phones to use for purchasing lottery tickets for the 2 May 2026 draw.
