Prayers granted as hoped, crowds flock to repay vows to “Thao Wessuwan” at Wat Don Yai, Pathum Thani, while seeking lucky lottery numbers through incense divination for the 16 May 2026 draw.
On 11 May 2026, reporters observed a lively atmosphere at Wat Don Yai, Khlong 8, Lam Luk Ka Subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani. Devotees from all over, both spiritual believers and merit-makers, continuously came to pay respects, ask for blessings, and repay vows to Thao Wessuwan and Ai Khai. Particularly, Thao Wessuwan is believed to grant success in work, finances, and luck, prompting some devotees to even wait eagerly to catch the lucky numbers from incense sticks.
Ms. Naree Wongrungprasatsin brought offerings including three packs of drinking water, three bags of rice, and ceremonial items to repay a vow to “Thao Wessuwan” after her son, an esports athlete playing Valorant for the Korean team T1, succeeded in qualifying to compete in London, England.
Ms. Naree said that besides repaying her vow as promised, she took the opportunity to ask for new blessings for her son and his team’s success in the upcoming round. She has previously come three times to ask for blessings and repay vows. This fourth visit was to repay vows and request continued success in the London competition. She prayed that her son would win again and hoped Thao Wessuwan would grant him the world championship. Before leaving, she lit incense sticks for divination and received the number 947 to take home and try her luck.

Less than a month after praying, she received good news when a large sum of money from her business or cash flow arrived at the right moment, allowing her to pay off her debts as intended. Now that her wish was fulfilled, she came to repay her vow and express gratitude as promised.
