"Vegetable vendor" returned to fulfill a vow "Mae Takhian Thong" at Bueng Ba Prapha Sawat Temple after winning a large prize exceeding 700,000 baht, not forgetting to ask for "lucky numbers for this draw" to try his luck again on 16 May 2026
On 13 May 2026, reporters reported that the atmosphere inside Bueng Ba Prapha Sawat Temple, Bueng Ba Subdistrict, Nong Suea District, Pathum Thani Province, was lively with spiritual devotees and worshippers from various areas continuously coming to pay respects and pray to the sacred entities within the temple. Especially revered were Ai Khai of Bueng Ba Temple, Thao Wessuwan, and Mae Takhian Thong. Throughout the day, devotees and worshippers came nonstop to pray and fulfill vows.
Some devotees also stroked and collected scales from the Naga serpent stretching along the walkway to the vihara for good fortune. In addition to fulfilling vows and praying, they also participated in offering Sangha Dana (monk offerings) to make merit for blessings in their lives and families.
Meanwhile, Mr. Somphot Sritalalai, a vegetable vendor from the Si Mum Mueang Rangsit Market, brought the long drum troupe 'L. Phrom Charoen Sin Phan Sadet Nok' to perform drum playing and singing to fulfill his vow at the Mae Takhian Thong shrine after receiving a large lottery prize of over 700,000 baht in the previous draw.
Mr. Somphot said that previously he came to pray to Mae Takhian Thong for smooth business, good sales, and increased profits because his vegetable sales at Si Mum Mueang Rangsit Market had been poor. After praying, his business and sales clearly improved, with continuous customer support.
Besides improved business, he also received luck from Mae Takhian Thong consecutively for three draws. Before the latest lottery result, he prayed that if he won again, he would bring the long drum troupe to perform as a vow fulfillment. When the lottery results came out, he won over 700,000 baht. Today, he came with the troupe to fulfill that vow, and before leaving, he lit incense and drew the number 872 to take home for a fourth chance at winning a large prize.
