Spotting the Lucky Numbers at the 105th Anniversary Ceremony of Luang Pho Phats Birth

A large crowd of devotees joined the auspicious ceremony commemorating the 105th birth anniversary of the revered teacher "Phra Ratchamongkol Watcharachan," also known as Luang Pho Phat of Wat Than Thahan. Lottery enthusiasts did not miss the chance to spot "lucky numbers" from the ceremonial incense for a chance to win.

Reporters noted that on 11 and 12 May 2026, Wat Than Thahan (Huai Duan), also called Wat Luang Pho Phat, in Nong Bua District, Nakhon Sawan Province, held a ceremony marking the 105th birth anniversary of the revered teacher Phra Ratchamongkol Watcharachan, or Luang Pho Phat Punyakamo.

Local devotees, disciples of Luang Pho Phat, brought a variety of food and daily necessities to distribute freely at the event, including papaya salad, duck rice, noodles, daifuku sweets, Nakhon Sawan's famous bread, Patani-style pulled tea, as well as rice, dried foods, and canned fish. Those faithful to Luang Pho Phat generously offered these donations for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, actor-turned-amulet expert A Pasin distributed Luang Pho Phat coins to over 1,000 local vendors and residents.

Above the 100-Year Pavilion, besides people paying respects to Luang Pho Phat's preserved body in the glass coffin, a ceremony was held to bless the ancient scripture of Luang Pu Thet from Wat Sa Thale. This scripture, believed to be over 200 years old, is said to bring charm, kindness, fortune, and luck when chanted. Luang Pho Phat inherited this scripture during his lifetime.

A highlight of the event was the lucky number 103 revealed from the ceremonial incense during the ritual. Whether this number will match the upcoming lottery draw on 16 May 2026 remains to be seen, with lottery fans watching closely and deciding for themselves.
