The owner of a pork factory, having prospered, donates 3 tons of pork along with dry food to Phra Ngern Phra Thong at Wat Sawang Arom in Nakhon Pathom. People are noting the vehicle license plates to try their luck in the 16 May 2026 lottery draw.
Reporters described the atmosphere at Wat Sawang Arom, Khae Khaew Subdistrict, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province, where the major pork factory owner known as "Je O" from Bo Plap Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, delivered 20 sacks of 25-kilogram rice bags, 100 dozen bottles of drinking water, 100 dozen bottles of red soda, and 10 large stainless steel pots. The second truck carried pork parts including ribs, minced pork, offal, pork meat, pork belly, and bones, totaling about 3 tons. These were brought to offer to Luang Pho Phra Ngern Phra Thong and to Phra Kru Yothithammanuyut (Luang Pho Pae), the well-known abbot, so the temple kitchen could use them to prepare meals for distribution to the needy, hospitals, and schools supported by the temple's charity work.
When interviewed, Mr. Mongkol Udomwit, who delivered the items, revealed that today he was ordered by "Je O," the pork factory owner, to present all these offerings to Phra Ngern Phra Thong and Luang Pho Pae. Je O said that her success and wealth came thanks to the spiritual power of Phra Ngern Phra Thong and the teachings of Luang Pho Pae, whom she has been a disciple of for 10 years. Before becoming prosperous, Je O rented a pork butcher shop near Pathom Mongkhon Market but sales were poor. She then sought blessings from Phra Ngern Phra Thong and met Luang Pho Pae, who gave her many insights and advised her to pay respect to Phra Ngern Phra Thong. Afterward, her shop’s sales improved, allowing her to start a slaughterhouse and supply pork to various butcher shops, eventually enabling her to build a large house and become a leading pork supplier in the province and nearby areas. Je O was not present today because she is preparing to move into her new home.
Meanwhile, Luang Pho Pae announced via the temple's loudspeaker that the items offered by the sponsor would be distributed to some local residents, with the remainder kept in the temple kitchen to prepare meals for devotees and the needy, as well as for several hospitals, according to the sponsor’s wishes and to generate additional merit for the donors.
Additionally, many lottery enthusiasts and number fans were closely observing the license plates of the two refrigerated trucks, which were ฒฐ 977 Bangkok and ฒต 8462, hoping to use these numbers for the 16 May 2026 lottery draw.
