Devotees Flock to Ruesi Nen Hermitage to Pray for Fortune, Eye Lucky Numbers from Holy Water Basin for 16/5/26

Devotees crowded the "Ruesi Nen Hermitage" to pay homage to sacred objects and pray for fortune. They held ceremonies to enhance auspiciousness and did not forget to observe the holy water basin to catch the "lucky numbers for 16/5/26" to try their luck.

On 13 May 2026 GMT+7, a reporter described the atmosphere at Ruesi Nen Hermitage, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, located on West Ring Road No. 9, Pho Taeng Subdistrict, Bang Sai District. Many people continuously came to pay respect to sacred figures inside the hermitage, including the world's largest Ruesi Phrommaet statue, the wealthy spirit child Kuman Thong, the nine-faced Thao Wessuwan, the Takian tree goddess, the cave-dwelling monkey spirit Jindamanee, and the primordial naga Ruesi Kledkaew. Those who had their wishes fulfilled brought offerings such as pumpkins, red soda, rice, sweets, and toys to make merit according to belief.

Additionally, the public participated in auspicious ceremonies such as lifting the revered elder statue, chanting the million-baht spell into wallets, and the famous guru "Ajarn Ruesi Nen, Phutthakun" performing the golden face incantation and anointing hands to open the millionaire’s fortune. During the elder statue lifting ceremony, a remarkable event occurred when many participants trembled, screamed, and moved their bodies violently, believed to be signs of spiritual possession according to local spiritual beliefs.

All the offerings brought for merit-making are collected by Ruesi Nen Hermitage to be donated to schools, temples, hospitals, and various foundations for public charitable use.

Meanwhile, at the Boonchuay Pavilion, people remained interested in observing the holy water basin numbers to try their luck. Today, the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 appeared grouped together, which lottery enthusiasts referred to as the "divine blessing".

When interviewed, Pimpa Siri Mongkolruangrawee, 69, from Bangkok, said she brought rice, instant noodles, milk, canned fish, and eggs to fulfill a vow to Ruesi Phrommaet. Previously, she prayed for business success, which was achieved as she had hoped. Therefore, she came today to make merit and fulfill her vow.
