Lucky 23-Year-Old Man Makes Merit Offering to Ai Som Chun After Winning Lottery to Clear Debt, Seeks Lucky Numbers Again

A 23-year-old man was extremely lucky, whispering a request for luck to "Ai Som Chun" after winning a three-digit lottery prize worth nearly 100,000 baht to clear his mother's debt. He brought a lavish offering to make merit and did not forget to draw lucky numbers to try his luck again for the 16 May 2026 draw. The date 16/5/69 refers to 16 May 2026 GMT+7.

On 15 May 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Paniyaphong Sethaisong, 23, from Nakhon Ratchasima, traveled to the Ai Som Chun pavilion at Song Sawoei Temple, Nong Noi Subdistrict, Wat Sing District, Chai Nat Province, a famous landmark nationwide. He brought 99 garlands and 99 slingshots as offerings to Ai Som Chun to make merit after his wish was fulfilled—winning a three-digit lottery prize worth nearly 100,000 baht, which he used to pay off a loan from the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) for his mother.

Mr. Paniyaphong revealed that in the previous lottery draw, he whispered a wish to Ai Som Chun, asking to win a prize so he could help his mother pay off the BAAC loan. His family is engaged in rice farming and agriculture. It was his first time visiting to pay respects, as he works near Song Sawoei Temple. He decided to try making a wish, and indeed he won. Now, he has come to make merit in return, and this draw he plans to use the lucky urn numbers that helped him win last time to try again. If he wins again, he promises to offer a large set of toys.

He then eagerly drew from Ai Som Chun’s lucky urn and got the number 443. Lottery enthusiasts, upon seeing this number, quickly rushed to buy tickets with this number for the 16 May 2026 GMT+7 lottery draw, hoping to follow the young man’s luck.

Regarding Ai Som Chun’s history, he was a disciple of Song Sawoei Temple who drowned at the temple’s riverside landing over a century ago. Locals still believe his spirit appears to grant luck to those who come to pay respects. People have consecutively won the lottery for over 20 draws in a row, resulting in the pavilion being filled with offerings.
