On 23 May 2026 at 09:09, a reporter reported that at Wat Khok U Thong, Pho Ngam Subdistrict, Prachantakham District, Prachinburi Province, Mr. Sanya Namee, Deputy Governor, attended as the layperson chairman in the draping ceremony of Phra Buddha Mahaburapha at the ceremonial area in front of the pavilion of Luang Pu Solos Yasotharo. This is the 17th annual event, with many disciples of Luang Pu participating.
In addition to the draping ceremony today, there was also a ritual to consecrate and bless soil and an offering of soil to build the foundation for the world's largest statue of Luang Pu Solos Yasotharo, measuring 12 meters wide and 15.3 meters high, intended for disciples and devotees to pay their respects.
After the ceremony, the disciples who attended went to observe the numbers from the prayer incense lit in front of the statue of Luang Pu, which is enshrined before the great pavilion. The number observed was 052, which they plan to use for lottery betting.
