Lucky Man Takes Family to Worship Thao Wessuwan and Shakes Fortune Sticks for Lucky Numbers on 1/6/26

A very lucky man dreamed of 'Thao Wessuwan' at Phang Muang Temple before winning a prize. He then took his family to pay respects and shake fortune sticks to obtain lucky numbers for buying lottery tickets for the 1 June 2026 draw.

On 25 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that at Phang Muang Temple, Sri Prachan District, Suphanburi Province, a fortunate family traveled from Bangkok to worship Thao Wessuwan and applied real gold leaf. This followed a dream of the Thao Wessuwan figure at Phang Muang Temple, despite never having visited or known this temple before.

After paying respects and praying, they shook a giant fortune stick container made from a 200-liter oil drum weighing 20 kilograms. There were 20 large sticks, each end numbered 0–9 in two sets. He drew the number 45. Additionally, he lit incense sticks for luck, obtaining the number 118 before using these numbers to buy lottery tickets.

Mr. Prakasit Pawintu, 42, together with his family, revealed that they traveled from Bangkok to worship Thao Wessuwan at Phang Muang Temple after dreaming of the figure, even though they had never visited or known the temple before. Upon waking, he bought lottery tickets and won some prizes. Today, he came to pray and shake the giant fortune sticks to seek luck for his family.

The Thao Wessuwan statue at Phang Muang Temple in Sri Prachan District, Suphanburi Province, is made of brass and gilded with gold, standing 3.48 meters tall and weighing one ton. It is the largest Thao Wessuwan statue in Suphanburi. Thao Wessuwan is believed to be the chief of demons who protects the human world, wards off evil spirits, dispels misfortune, ensures safety, and grants wealth and fortune to devotees. Many faithful worshippers come to honor Thao Wessuwan for blessings, and some have won first prize in the lottery after praying at Phang Muang Temple.
