At 09:00, they proceeded to honor the statue of Luang Pho Yongyut Dhammakosalo, the first abbot of Wat Khao Mai Daeng, whose remains are enshrined at the pavilion atop the mountain. The group then paraded and observed the lucky numbers from the firecracker ends set off as offerings, which included 403, 85, 991, and 04, as well as the incense stick number 371, to use for lottery ticket purchases for the 1 June 2026 draw. Afterwards, disciples of Luang Pho Sanga made merit by offering alms to the monks of Wat Khao Mai Daeng at the sermon hall of Luang Pho Sanga.
Wat Khao Mai Daeng, in Si Racha District of Chonburi Province, is home to a revered monk skilled in mystical arts: Phra Kru Thammakitkowit, also known as Luang Pho Yongyut Dhammakosalo. He was a famous former monk of Chonburi known for his great compassion, modesty, asceticism, powerful spiritual energy, and strong occult skills. His name is widely respected throughout the eastern region. Importantly, he was one of the top master monks of the Wat Pradu Songtham tradition from Ayutthaya.
Currently, Wat Khao Mai Daeng's abbot is Phra Kru Wisit Thammasophon, also called Luang Pho Sanga Tikkaviro, who is also the head monk of Bang Phra Subdistrict Zone 2. He is a direct disciple who inherited Buddhist occult knowledge from Luang Pho Yongyut, carrying on the practice of "invoking the Earth Mother (for land sales) and hand anointment with the sacred phrase 'Na Phra Mae Phosop' for endless prosperity."
He has applied his knowledge to help boost morale among villagers and devotees from all directions, including many foreigners who trust him, especially in the hand anointment ritual "Na Phra Mae Phosop" according to the original formula of Luang Pho Jong Phutthasaro, a famed monk of Wat Nantang Nok in Ayutthaya. This knowledge was passed to Luang Pho Yongyut and then to Luang Pho Sanga. It is an ancient secret believed to prevent poverty, misfortune, malevolent spirits, and various evils, making it unique in Thailand. Nowadays, many foreigners travel to receive Luang Pho Sanga's hand blessings.
