How to claim lottery winnings for the first prize
To claim the first prize, winners must go to the Government Lottery Office on the ground floor.
Reserve an online queue in advance at www.glo.or.th, GLO Lottery app, or QR Code. One queue per person per ticket, not exceeding 200 tickets.
Prize payments are made via bank transfer or by a Krungthai Bank cheque.
Steps for first prize payment
1. Officials ask winners to sign on the back of every winning ticket and receive a queue number. 2. Count and verify the number of tickets accurately. 3. Record the winner's ID card or government-issued card data and enter ticket details into the payment system, verifying all tickets. 4. Prepare a receipt slip for the tickets submitted as proof for the winner. 5. Verify the authenticity of every ticket using a blacklight machine. 6. Send tickets to the verification department for authenticity confirmation.
In case of cheque payment
Print the cheque and stamp it with A/C PAYEE ONLY, signed by two authorized persons.
The winner verifies payment details including name, prize amount, and tax/duty fees on the display screen, then confirms and signs electronically.
