The family jointly changed Puampuang Duangchan's outfit at Wat Thapkra Dan to mark the 34th anniversary. They also shared "lucky numbers" with fans to try their luck in the 16/6/69 lottery, following tradition and belief.
On 4 June 2026 at Wat Thapkra Dan, Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province, Puampuang Duangchan's family, led by siblings Oeng Salakjit, Kai Janjuang, and Jim Duangjai, heirs of the Queen of Luk Thung music, came to change the attire of Mother Bee's statue in preparation for welcoming fans at the event commemorating the 34th anniversary of Luk Thung Queen Puampuang Duangchan. The event runs from 10 to 19 June 2026 at Wat Thapkra Dan.
At the first Mother Bee statue located at the Sala Klang Nam pavilion, this year’s outfit change replaced the original red Thai-patterned dress with a red shawl trimmed in yellow. The Phusa Phalayang shop provided a pastel purple sari featuring a ‘three-braid necklace’ pattern or water hyacinth flowers, designed as a Thai motif arranged and sewn into an Indian-style outfit for Mother Bee.
Oeng Salakjit, Kai Janjuang, and Jim Duangjai, the three siblings, said after changing the outfit they felt deeply pleased. It looked very beautiful. They felt that Puampuang probably chose this shop to ensure she looks stunning every year because when they speak with the shop, they trust it will deliver fully for her. This year, they barely discussed with the shop, only asking when to change the outfit for the 34th year and what design to choose. They hardly talked at all, but upon seeing the outfit, they said it was amazing. They trust Phusa Phalayang, knowing everything would exceed expectations, always beautiful every year. This year’s outfit features purple flowers decorating it, fitting perfectly with Puampuang’s theme. Whether the real person or the statue, it truly suits the queen. It looks very beautiful.
They also asked fans coming to pay respects to Mother Bee to help take care of the statue. They want everyone to maintain Mother Bee’s beauty so she remains a fixture forever. Visitors can take beautiful photos with Puampuang. However, they requested that no one apply powder, lipstick, or any cosmetics or touch the statue or even the flowers or outfits provided by the shop. They encourage fans to take beautiful photos and cherish the memories of visiting the event.
Moreover, the family did not forget to reveal "lucky numbers" to Puampuang Duangchan’s fans. The numbers are 3, 4, and 8, which fans can use to try their luck in the lottery on 16 June 2026, according to their personal beliefs.
