A woman fulfilled a vow to “Thao Wessuwan” at Wat Don Yai in Pathum Thani. After her wish was granted, she did not forget to ask for lucky numbers for this lottery draw.
On 9 Jun 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that at Wat Don Yai, Khlong Paet, Lam Luk Ka Subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani, the atmosphere was filled with faith as many devotees from various areas continuously came throughout the day to pay respects and ask for blessings from the sacred entities within the temple.
Especially around the area of Thao Wessuwan, which draws strong devotion from many believers who come to pray and fulfill vows. Most prayers and offerings are related to luck, destiny, careers, studies, and health. When wishes come true, people return to fulfill their vows as promised. The offerings brought are personally chosen by those making vows; there are no fixed rules about what they must be—it's all based on one’s own intentions.
Ms. Phatsanalin Chothipjarukul brought offerings to fulfill her vow after surpassing sales of over 100,000 baht. She said she sells dietary supplements online and regularly visits to pray to Thao Wessuwan every month. Initially, she was not very religious.
But after seeing many people coming to pray, she decided to try making a wish herself. At that time, she wished for success in her work and aimed for monthly sales of 100,000 baht. After praying, her sales indeed reached that target. She developed faith and has returned monthly to offer thanks to Thao Wessuwan, maintaining her sales target for over seven consecutive months. This strengthened her belief, and before leaving she lit incense sticks to divine the number 631 to try her luck in the lottery.
Meanwhile, Ms. Permpoon, 53, traveled from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, bringing offerings of five types of fruit, chicken eggs, and drinking water to fulfill her vow to Father Pu Don Yai after receiving more than 100,000 baht. She said she had previously come to pray to Father Pu Don Yai on 31 April and received numbers from the fortune sticks to buy lottery tickets. She was lucky to win the two-digit prize, receiving more than 100,000 baht.
Ms. Permpoon added that she learned about Father Pu Don Yai through social media and decided to visit and pray for the first time. She did not expect to receive such luck and felt very happy and excited, as she had never won a large amount before. Initially, she had planned to pray at the front of the temple but could not find parking, so she drove around and found a spot near Father Pu Don Yai’s shrine.
She felt it was as if Father Pu Don Yai guided her there. Since it was her first visit, she was unfamiliar with the route and location. Today, she brought offerings to fulfill her vow to Father Pu Don Yai as promised and prayed that if she wins again, she would return to pay respects once more. Before leaving, she also drew lots and received the number 562 to try her luck in the next lottery draw.
