Two Buriram Siblings Win 1st Prize Lottery Tickets, Take Home 12 Million Baht After Lucky Car Plate

Two siblings from Buriram hit the jackpot, each winning a 1st prize lottery ticket worth 6 million baht, totaling 12 million baht. They revealed their intention to use the money to turn their lives around and become debt-free before turning 26 next month.

On 16 Jun 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that after the latest government lottery results were announced, with the 1st prize number 287184, two siblings from Laluaad Subdistrict, Chumni District, Buriram Province, became new millionaires. Each won one 1st prize ticket, totaling 12 million baht, amid congratulations from family and relatives.

The lucky winners are Mrs. Thanyalak Seesuebma (wearing black), the 41-year-old elder sister and a contractor by profession, and Ms. Suda Kiengram (wearing white), the 26-year-old younger sister. Both are from Laluaad Subdistrict, Chumni District, Buriram Province, and brought their winning lottery tickets to register an official record at Nang Rong Police Station.

Ms. Suda said that before the draw day, she traveled to Khon Kaen Province for errands and stopped to buy lottery tickets. She chose numbers related to her personal car registration, which she liked and had followed closely. She bought two tickets and gave one to her sister to keep.

On the day of the results, while waiting inside the car for her sister to shop, she took out the ticket to check the results. When she saw the numbers matched the 1st prize, she was shocked and very happy. She immediately called her sister with the good news. Upon detailed checking, they found the other ticket her sister held was also a 1st prize winner, so both received 6 million baht each.

The two siblings revealed they plan to use the prize money first to pay off their own and their family's debts to build financial stability after years of hard work as contractors supporting their family.

Ms. Suda said she felt very happy and relieved because the prize money will help clear all debts, especially as she will turn 26 next month. It is the biggest gift of her life. She also said she will continue working as a contractor with her sister as usual and plans to save and manage the money carefully for their family's future.
