Recently, Somchat Chaiyachana, 40, a devotee, brought sweets, beer—his favorite offerings—and various toys to pay vows. He lit incense to seek lucky numbers from Kuman Khong. The numbers revealed on the incense were 834. He said he would use these numbers to try his luck in the 1 July draw, acknowledging this as a personal belief.
The atmosphere inside the Kuman Khong shrine remained lively, with people coming throughout the day to ask for blessings and luck. Many believe Kuman Khong has brought luck in several past draws, as seen by the large number of toys and beer offerings filling the shrine area.
