Faithful Gather for Holy Water Ritual on Monday Overlapping Monday, Eye Lucky Numbers for 1/7/26

With overwhelming faith, spiritual devotees gathered for the Holy Water Ritual on "Monday Overlapping Monday" at the Ruesi Nen Shrine, not missing the chance to view the "lucky numbers" for the 1 July 2026 lottery.

Reporters stated that at midnight on 29 June 2026 at the Ruesi Nen Shrine, Potang Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, a large crowd attended the Full Moon Charm Holy Water Ritual in observance of the rare "Monday Overlapping Monday," which occurs only twice this year.

Monday Overlapping Monday is the most powerful astrological auspicious time in the Thai calendar, occurring when a major Buddhist holy day (15th waxing moon) coincides with a Monday. It is believed that the moon's energy is at its peak, prompting people to perform the full moon water ritual to invite luck, charm, and success.

In the evening, attendees were invited to pay respects by offering serpent deity trays and gilding the index finger of Grandfather Ruesi Brahma Met before the grand celebration on 4-5 July. For the first time, the shrine will open for nighttime worship of Grandfather Ruesi Brahma Met and the Golden Child Spirit. Before the ceremony began, participants had Master Ruesi inscribe golden talismans and anoint their hands to open millionaire fortunes.

The ceremony featured Luang Pho Pae from Wat Sawang Arom, a renowned monk from Nakhon Pathom, who chanted blessings. Master Ruesi Nen Thatbuddhakhun invoked deities, and attendees lit candles to honor sacred beings and call for blessings. The holy water ritual followed ancient beliefs, using ingredients such as kaffir lime (believed to dispel negativity), jackfruit leaves (to support and sustain), star gooseberry leaves (for popularity), marigold flowers (for prosperity), lotus flowers (symbols of purity arising from mud, used in worship), and roses.

Before the holy water bathing, Master Ruesi Nen Thatbuddhakhun instructed all participants to light candles to reverse fate and become millionaires, offering their full names and birthdates on the candles before presenting them to Grandfather Ruesi Brahma Met.

At midnight, when the moon was directly overhead, Master Ruesi Nen Thatbuddhakhun and Luang Pho Pae performed the Full Moon Charm Holy Water ritual for attendees' good fortune. Before leaving, many observed the auspicious incense numbers lit before Grandfather Ruesi Brahma Met, aiming to try their luck in the 1 July 2026 lottery draw. The incense numbers revealed were 136.
