Lottery Enthusiasts Flock to Spot Lucky Numbers at the Roof Spire Raising Ceremony of the Ubosot for the 74th Anniversary Merit-Making

Lottery enthusiasts flock to observe "this draw's lucky numbers" from firecracker ends at the roof spire raising ceremony of the ubosot for the 74th anniversary merit-making at Wat Jaeng, Prachinburi Province.

On 4 July 2026, reporters reported that Buddhist devotees and disciples filled Wat Jaeng, Mueang Kao Subdistrict, Prachantakham District, Prachinburi Province, to join the great merit-making ceremony of raising the roof spire of the ubosot and the 74th anniversary merit-making.

Mr. Weeraphan Dee-on, Governor of Prachinburi Province, served as the lay chairman tying the cloth for the roof spire raising at the ubosot, while Phra Thep Wachirasophon, the 12th Regional Ecclesiastical Chief, presided over the roof spire raising ceremony and the anniversary merit-making.

On this occasion, Phra Kru Mongkol Thammasopon (Luang Pu Yai) graciously distributed charity to 1,000 families along with scholarships for monks and novices at Wat Jaeng’s Pariyatti Dhamma School.

At 09:09, Phra Thep Wachirasophon kindly presided over the roof spire raising of the new ubosot, with senior monks chanting blessings, followed by the lighting of 10,000 firecrackers.

Meanwhile, devotees eagerly sought the lucky numbers from the firecracker tails, which appeared as 68 and 868—considered highly auspicious numbers for use in upcoming lottery draws.
