After dreaming of crocodiles, a woman from Nakhon Sawan hurried to pay respects to "Chao Mae Mon Thong" at Bueng Boraphet, remembering to ask for lucky numbers for 16/7/26 by lighting incense for divination and picking lucky ping pong balls to try her luck.
On the morning of 13 Jul 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that in Nakhon Sawan province, a local woman who used to live around Bueng Boraphet and worships "Chao Mae Mon Thong" dreamed in the early hours that many crocodiles were waiting around her house, blocking her from going out. She woke up startled and told her husband that they must visit Chao Mae Mon Thong before going to sell goods.
Upon arriving at the Chao Mae Mon Thong shrine, she brought garlands, red drink, and water, lit incense to pay respects, then lit incense sticks for divination and drew lucky ping pong balls, getting the number 257. She then walked around the shrine until the incense sticks showed the number 037. She took photos of the numbers to buy lottery tickets at the market.
Locals believe "Chao Mae Mon Thong" is the guardian goddess of Bueng Boraphet and all its crocodiles, preventing the crocodiles from surfacing to protect them from being hunted for their eggs or bodies. The crocodiles themselves hide, waiting for the right moment to appear and show their grandeur.
