Lottery Enthusiasts Seek Lucky Numbers from Luang Pu Klueab for 16/7/26 Draw, Using Jars, Fortune Sticks, and Incense

In the final stretch before the lottery draw day, people flocked to seek lucky numbers from “Luang Pu Klueab” at Wat Kradi Nok in Uthai Thani Province, using incense lighting and reaching into jars as a guide for the 16 July 2026 lottery.

At 9:30 a.m. on 15 July 2026 at Wat Nong Kradi Nok, Nong Yai Da Subdistrict, Thap Than District, Uthai Thani Province—one day before the lottery draw—lottery hopefuls gathered to request lucky numbers. According to belief, anyone asking for luck, fortune, or promotion in rank or position must vow with white liquor, salt, and tamarind paste.

Luang Pho Klueab was known for his sacred words and earned the title “God of the Sakae Krang River Basin.” He was a former abbot of the temple who passed away over 72 years ago. Villagers united to create a bronze statue of him for worship. It is customary for anyone passing the temple to honk their horn three times for good fortune and safe journeys.

Devotees and disciples who crowded the temple lit incense and paid respects to Luang Pho before seeking numbers by reaching into jars, obtaining the number 690. They also shook fortune sticks, getting numbers 14 and 26. A must-do was lighting incense sticks marked with numbers to divine lucky numbers believed to be inspired by Luang Pu Klueab, yielding various numbers such as 818, 034, 890, 922, and others. People waited patiently until they had all their numbers before heading to lottery stalls to find matching tickets and await the big draw.

In the days leading up to the lottery draw, Wat Nong Kradi Nok becomes especially lively as many come to ask Luang Pu Klueab for lucky numbers. Those who win and have their wishes fulfilled traditionally offer boiled pig’s head, white liquor, tamarind paste, and salt as thanks. If anyone loses something and cannot find it, they pray to Luang Pho with folded hands and often get their belongings returned. This has made Luang Pu Klueab widely known and respected across Thailand as a famous monk whom devotees visit daily to seek blessings for success in their vows.
