Khamchanod Dancer Gazes into Giant Alms Bowl Candle Drippings, Hopes for Lucky Numbers Before 16 July 2026 Lottery Draw

A Khamchanod dancer gazes into candle drippings inside a giant alms bowl used as a sacred water basin, hoping to find this draw's lucky numbers in the final stretch before the 16 July 2026 lottery results.

Reporters noted that on 15 July 2026, at the worship area in front of Khamchanod Island, Wang Nakinthorn, Ban Muang Subdistrict, Ban Dung District, Udon Thani Province, many tourists came to pay respects and pray for luck from Grandfather Srisuthon and Grandmother Sripratum as the lottery draw approached. Visitors also took the opportunity to seek numbers to try their luck at the worship area.

A worship table was set up for those who had succeeded to come give thanks, while those still seeking luck set up tables to pray according to their beliefs. There was also a "giant alms bowl" transformed into a sacred water basin used in rituals on Buddhist holy days, displayed for visitors to observe candle drippings as a source of lucky numbers.

After the Khamchanod dancer completed her ritual dance honoring the grandparents, she looked into the candle drippings in the giant alms bowl and saw three-digit numbers such as 327 and 723, varying by individual perspective. The village shaman perceived different numbers, such as 963 and 75, reflecting how interpretations depend on each viewer's viewpoint.

After tourists finished paying respects to the grandparents, they stopped by lottery stalls where numbers 15 and 51 were so popular they were sold out at Khamchanod Island.
