A female guide came to make a vow fulfillment offering. To “Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes” at the Ruesi Nen Hermitage. This was her seventh time after receiving a six-figure windfall as requested; before leaving, she lit incense to ask for lucky numbers for the 1 Aug 2026 lottery draw.
On 24 Jul 2026 at the Ruesi Nen Hermitage on Western Ring Road No. 9, Potang Subdistrict, Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, many Thai and foreign visitors arrived with their families to pay respects to sacred figures inside the hermitage, including the world’s largest Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes statue, the wealthy spirit child Jao Sua Heng, the nine-faced Thao Wessuwan, and the Takian Tree Goddess.
They also participated in various rituals such as presenting fruit trays, draping robes on the Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes statue in the great wealthy pose, receiving the wealthy blessing bath for the five elements, and having Master Ruesi Nen apply sacred Buddhist elements, the “Na Phra Lak” golden face blessing, and anointing hands to open financial fortune for auspiciousness.
When interviewed, Ms. Salisa Thanwech, a tour guide from Bangkok, said she brought pumpkins, rice, and drinking water to make a vow fulfillment offering to Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes after successfully receiving the six-figure sum she had prayed for. This was her seventh time making such an offering.
Before leaving, Ms. Salisa lit incense to seek auspicious numbers from Grandfather Ruesi Phrommes for future lottery luck; the incense number was 690.
