Lottery devotees performed a ritual to seek luck. "Phaya Bung" In Ang Thong Province, they were rewarded with "lucky numbers" to try their luck in the 1/8/26 lottery draw.
On the evening of 28 July 2026, reporters reported that at a lawn of a house in Ang Thong Province, gamblers conducted a ritual to divine numbers from "Phaya Bung" according to their belief. They dropped three sets of papers numbered 0-9 into the Phaya Bung's mound hole, allowing the creature to bring the numbers out and place them at the mound entrance.
When the Phaya Bung brought the numbered papers out and placed them at the mound entrance, opening the papers revealed the numbers 245, which were promptly used for the lottery draw on 1 August 2026.
