Chetwanaram Temple in Kamphaeng Phet Province has built a pavilion for “Mae Takian” after she brought lottery wins several times. Lottery enthusiasts did not miss the chance to flock and look for “lucky numbers” for the 16/8/26 draw.
On 15 Aug 2026 at Chetwanaram Temple, also known as Wat Nam Dip, in Nong Pling Subdistrict, Mueang District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, what was once just a Takian wood given by devotees and an old Takian pillar placed beside the sermon hall, has become a site of miracles after repeatedly bringing lottery winnings.
This led the fortunate winners of fifth-prize lottery tickets, along with devotees, to unite in building a new small pavilion to neatly arrange all the Takian wood pieces, providing convenience for the public and lottery players to come and pay respects, seek blessings, and ask for lucky numbers continuously.
As a result, the atmosphere inside the temple today was filled with believers coming to pay respects and seek blessings, while the spirit medium of Mae Takian performed a ceremony and used sign language to convey the numbers 3, 5, and 0.
Additionally, the public showed keen interest in the numbers appearing in the holy water basin prepared by the spirit medium, which revealed the digits 5, 6, 7, and 3. This caused lottery players to take out their phones to photograph and jot down the numbers on paper to guide their bets for the upcoming draw.
Besides the lively atmosphere of seeking luck, there was also an element that added color and faith for attendees when a local resident who previously came to light incense sticks and later won the Lao lottery, brought a mobile phone to play music and performed a dance offering before Mae Takian inside the new pavilion with joy, reflecting the community’s deep belief and faith in Mae Takian at Chetwanaram Temple.
